Kenny Omega has not been cleared for in-ring action following an injury he sustained during AEW Full Gear. According to the former heavyweight champion, doctors have refused to clear him to compete in professional wrestling matches. During the loss to Moxley, the duo had a brutal fight involving trash cans, barbed wires, mouse traps, steel chains, and pretty much anything that they could lay their hands on. Cody received eight stitches after busting his head against the ramp. Cody suffered the injury to his forehead after he dived out to the metal ramp that was connected to the ring. He missed Jericho and landed face down, resulting in a nasty cut above his right eye. The injury nearly stopped the match. Cody also suffered bruised ribs, taking him out of action for a few weeks.
